This is a two-month long festival that celebrates in true Bavarian style. The mountains of the town offer spectacular beauty and deep blue skies. The alpine village of downtown will charm you from the moment you arrive, and the activities offered by this festival are unparalleled. Wander these picturesque streets during the day, browsing the shops and enjoying the food and scenery.

When the sun descends, the fun is just beginning. The Festhalle, located within walking distance of most hotels, is the place for authentic German bands, food, beer and fun.

Dance the polka and the chicken dance or just relax and enjoy the night air. Be sure to sample the fresh-cooked wursts, Germany’s delicious version of sausage that will keep you coming back for more. As the next day dawns, take in the changing leaves in amber and gold, and breathe deep in this village tucked away from everyday cares.
