A book written by President Jimmy Carter and illustrated by his daughter Amy in 1995 has been turned into a play. This is story that President Carter used to tell his children and grandchildren to amuse them, but it also has a very interesting message.
The tale is about a boy who has no friends so he finds the little baby Snoogle Fleejer, who is a sea monster, and they establish a relationship. The development of that association brings many interesting lessons of friendship and understanding to the audience.
