The Atlanta Jazz Festival has an international line-up as well as local Atlanta flavor. The countdown has begun to the 18th Annual Atlanta Jazz Festival‘s 31 days of Jazz cultural conglomeration. The smoldering talent line-up for the Memorial Day Weekend festival will make you want to groove all day long! Featuring some of the premier talent in the industry, including international jazz legends, local Atlanta entertainers and youth ensembles, music lovers from all over the world will come together to celebrate all that jazz!
Each day of the festival focuses on a different theme. Local favorites will perform on Saturday, a one-of-a-kind Latin jazz explosion is featured on Sunday, and then on Monday, the festival culminates with a national/international focus. Slated for all age groups, you can rest assure that the entire family will enjoy the music and learn a great deal about different jazz forms.
Two award-winning artists are featured at the opening and closing of the festival. Kenny G will perform on Friday and Alicia Keys will close on Monday with a presentation at Chastain Park Amphitheater.
