Have You Been Here? Write about it! Founder Jake Rothschild felt that Atlanta needed good home made ice cream and a really cool place to enjoy it.

No fluorescent lights, no hard chrome and plastic chairs, no pre-programmed music backing pre-programmed speeches from polyester-uniformed singing robots. Instead, big, roomy spaces perfect for stretching out in overstuffed sofas by working fireplaces and soft lighting perfect for practicing the art of conversation.

And the food? Great soups, salads and sandwiches and the best ice cream you are likely to find anywhere. We know that when you think of Jake's, you think of ice cream. With such a large list of unique flavors of ice creams and sorbets, we don't blame you!

But you also need to know that Jake's also serves delicious sandwiches, homemade soups, and salads such as the Roast Beef Melt, the Cuban, a quiche, and many wonderful salads. A children's menu is also available.
