Hours: Mon - Thu 10am - 5pm, Fri 10am - 3pm, Sun 1pm - 5pm
Admission: Adults $6, Seniors (62+) and Students $4; Kids 6 and under Free
This museum features local Jewish history (1845-present),
Holocaust information, hands-on activities, and a genealogy center.

There are four permanent exhibits that present diverse focuses on the Jewish
experience in Atlanta.
Creating Community remembers the beginnings when Jacob Haas and Henry Levi came
to their new home and opened their dry goods store.
The story continues until the present day and it looks at all the challenges
that brought 100,000 Jews to Atlanta. |
Absence of Humanity looks upon the Holocaust years. The Legacy
Project presents the story of the Holocaust survivors and their arrival to
Atlanta. And finally, Welcome to America is the Kids' Discovery Area. This
area has been created to teach children about the immigrant experience through
hands-on activities.
