A CNN Studio Tour is a must while you’re in Atlanta. Anyone over 4 will enjoy this interactive experience at the network that made 24-hour cable news the norm in today’s information age. The CNN Center has a history dating back to the 1970s and now serves as world headquarters for the news network as well as Turner Broadcasting System.
The building now houses more than 100,000 feet of restaurants and retail businesses. So if you’re not interested in the tour, you can still have a fantastic time during a day at this mixed-use marvel. But back to the tour—the real focus of this modern commerce center. The tour lasts about 50 minutes and covers all the ground you’d expect and then some.
Be an anchor for a moment or two. Get your burning questions answered—like how much do anchors make a year, where is Ted Turner, and how many satellites are in use? You’ll find the energy level invigorating and interesting.
Stories are breaking all around, in various stages of development before they go on air. Be a part of the news business as you explore this hub of international news and events. This is edutainment at its best!
