The Smyrna School of Ballet teaches the highest caliber of ballet instruction and affords serious students the opportunity to fully develop their potential, while emphasizing the joy of learning to dance as a rewarding and fulfilling experience in itself.
Regardless of each dancer's destiny to become a performer or a patron, we believe each student deserves training of uncompromising quality. The values that classical ballet instruction instill in a student are immense and last a lifetime.
Training at Smyrna School of Ballet gives the student increased grace, poise, beauty of posture, sound muscular development, and sense of accomplishment and appreciation of the fine arts.
Because ballet involves training and strengthening muscles, students over the age of eight are required to attend two ballet classes per week to fully benefit from the training. Creative Movement classes begin at age 3.
