Trey Johanson-Smith loves to climb so much that she has dedicated herself and telling the world about growing the sport of climbing. "Climbing is like soccer was in the US in the 70s, climbing is a lifestyle as well as a sport. It teaches young climbers to face life with confidence, responsibility, and balance," says Trey who is owner, Head Coach, Youth Program Director, and mom of Adrenaline Climbing.

Though rock climbing may become an Olympic sport as soon as 2016, it‘s a wonderful activity for kids (and adults) to engage in today. And with the harsh economy impacting just about every family, Trey‘s Adrenaline Climbing is dedicated to providing fantastic family outings at a great value.

"I‘d love to tell you about our spring and summer offerings," says Trey. Family Fun Fridays at Adrenaline Climbing happen every Friday evening from 6pm to 8pm. Admission includes all climbing safety equipment, climbing shoes, and safety instruction for parents

If you‘re a tree hugger at heart, life doesn‘t get much better than at Tree Climbers International. TCI was started by Peter "Treeman" Jenkins, a retired rock and mountain climber-turned tree surgeon (now an ISA-Certified Arborist).

Peter found that the equipment used in rock climbing did not always fit the needs of climbing something alive and fragile as a tree.

It became clear to Peter that an organization was needed which could bring together people who love tree climbing, as well as train them in the techniques necessary to ensure that they climb safely and responsibly. In 1983, he founded Tree Climbers International and opened the world‘s first tree climbing school in Atlanta.

And if your child loves to climb every tree they see--leaving your heart in your belly--TCI offers tree climbing classes for kids of all ages. TCI‘s classes will train your kid on the necessary climbing skills that will enable them to climb safely and responsibly. Introductory tree climbing classes every first and third Sunday through November, plus group climbing events specially scheduled for birthday parties, church and school groups, outdoor clubs, and scouts.

This family-friendly activity is totally safe and fun for everybody. See the video and more information at www.treeclimbing.com.
